The opportunity 🤩 At Candeno, we seek a talented and forward-thinking Product Designer to enhance our design team. As a leading player in Denmark’s employment sector, now expanding into Sweden and Norway, we strive to develop solutions that create new opportunities for job seekers and employers. We are currently rebuilding our platform from scratch, giving you the chance to craft intuitive designs and leave your mark on the platform's design evolution.
You will 💡
As a Product Designer at Candeno, you’ll have a crucial part in shaping the experience of thousands of users on our platform. You’ll combine visual design skills and a deep understanding of usability and user needs, ensuring that our platform is both visually pleasing and functional. Reporting to our Head of UX & Design, you will:
Design & Development
- Translate user needs and business goals into clear design flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Create intuitive, consistent, and visually engaging interfaces in Figma.
- Develop high-fidelity designs and specifications that guide development teams.
- Maintain and evolve Candeno’s design system to ensure scalability and consistency.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with Product Management, UX, and Development teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Document and present design rationale to stakeholders.
- Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and simplicity across all design work.
Culture & Growth
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a strong design culture.
- Share knowledge, foster creativity, and champion design best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies—and apply them when relevant.
You are 💙
We’re looking for someone with a sharp design eye and a user-centred approach. It's not just about creating visuals – you’re designing experiences that truly matter. Ideally, you'd bring:
- Proven experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both visual design and UX problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Figma and experience with design systems.
- A solid understanding of accessibility and usability principles.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- A collaborative, curious, and forward-thinking mindset.

Within the first month:
- Get familiar with Candeno’s platform, early-stage design system, and team workflows.
- Collaborate on small design tasks and contribute to design critiques.
Within three months:
- Take ownership of core product flows and play an active role in defining and improving the design system.
- Deliver end-to-end design solutions in collaboration with product and development teams.
Within six months:
- Drive design initiatives that set the direction for Candeno’s design language and user experience across the platform.
- Play a key role in shaping design culture at Candeno.
